HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Despite just being down nine at half, the Lamar University women's basketball fell to Sam Houston State on Wednesday from Johnson Coliseum, 68-47.

Amber Vidal and Laidler. Vidal recorded her 10
th consecutive double-digit scoring performance when she finished the loss with 14 points and three rebounds. Sophomore
Angel Hastings tallied 11 points with two rebounds.

On moving on from the loss and focusing on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi:
"We have to do a better job executing offensively and taking care of the basketball. 24 turnovers led to 20 points for Sam Houston State. We are still learning as a team. We will work the next two days and be prepared for Corpus."
