CONWAY, Ark. - Lamar University put up a strong fight on Thursday night at the Prince Center, but it was not enough as Southland Conference leader Central Arkansas picked up a 3-0 volleyball victory over the visiting Lady Cardinals.

Outside hitter Megan McStravick continued a solid freshman campaign as she led Lamar with 12 kills and eight digs. Bailey Smith and Angel Colyar combined for 23 digs in the match.
