The Golden Eagles however, responded by outscoring the Lady Cardinals 36-8 run to take control of the game midway through the first half. Brackens led all scorers in the game, pouring in 24 points on 8-14 shooting from the field, knocking down five of her eight three pointers. All of her points came in the second half, after she missed her three attempts in the opening period.
