Ty Lenberg

Ty Lenberg started his position as a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at Lamar University in May 2024. Lenberg is responsible for all aspects of training for men’s golf and throwers, as well as assisting with the training of football and baseball. He is working to obtain his master’s in nutrition. 

Lenberg comes to Lamar from Stanford University where he worked solely with football. While there, he was responsible for the coaching of players in season.  

Prior to Stanford, Lenberg was an intern at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) during the summer of 2023, working solely with football. He was responsible for the coaching of players in the off-season training. He also assisted with the training of early enrollee freshmen. 

Prior to interning at Ole Miss, Lenberg was an intern at California Berkeley (Cal) in the winter and spring of 2023. Lenberg was given the responsitiblity of working with the men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming, throwers, and volleyball teams. 

Lenberg arrived in Berkeley after spending time in the West Coast Conference making stops at Santa Clara and Saint Mary's College of California.  

Lenberg is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. 

Lenberg received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, emphasis in exercise science, at Saint Mary’s College of California in 2024. He is a native of San Ramon, Calif., and the son of Thomas and Tia Lenberg.
