Lamar University Athletics

Stephanie Allen joined the Lamar University development staff in September 2026 and arrives in the Golden Triangle after spending the previous season in Los Angeles, Calif., working with the USC athletics department.
 
Allen served as the director of operations for both the USC women’s soccer and men’s basketball teams during her time in Los Angeles. She oversaw everything from team travel logistics, coordinating schedules, assisting with recruit visits and gameday operations as well as working with NIL initiatives and fundraising.
 
Allen made the move to collegiate athletics after spending the previous five years on the corporation side. A four-year letterwinner for the Houston Cougar soccer team, Allen graduated from Houston with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision. She is married to Sean Allen, who was named the university’s seventh baseball coach in June 2026.
