A native of El Paso, Dindinger spent the last two years and four months at NCAA Division II Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, as the sports information director. He worked through the transition from Division III while handling all media aspects for SRSU's 12 teams.

He handled everything from writing recaps and feature stories, shooting and editing photos and videos, graphic design, setting up and monitoring live streams through FloSports, website management, social media management, occasional solo play by play for baseball and softball, occasional public address announcing for soccer and inputting stats at all home games.

Dindinger helped the men's basketball program gain national attention from Barstool Sports and ESPN in 2023.

During the summer of 2024, he was a part-time statistician for the Alpine Cowboys, an independent baseball team competing in the Pecos League.

Prior to his time at Sul Ross State, Dindinger spent two years and seven months at New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. He helped cover 21 junior college and high school sport teams.

Dindinger assisted the sports information director by handling coverage of NMMI's NJCAA Division I national championship football team in 2021, which included Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia.

He also handled media coverage of NMMI's NJCAA Division I national runner-up volleyball program in 2021. At the high school level, Dindinger assisted the sports information director with coverage of the NMMI baseball team's 2022 state championship run.

Dindinger served as the primary game day photographer at home events while also assisting with website maintenance, game day graphics, editing and shooting highlight and promo videos, writing features and game recaps as well as setting up live-streaming equipment.

He also served as a freelance sports writer in 2019, helping the Las Cruces (N.M.) Sun-News, Hobbs (N.M.) News-Sun and Midland (Texas) Reporter-Telegram with any high school coverage in the El Paso/Las Cruces area.

From 2018-2019, Dindinger was a sports writer for the Odessa American in Odessa, Texas, covering 19 schools as the area beat writer during football season while also covering rodeo, the Double-A Midland RockHounds of the Oakland A's organization, the former Midland-Odessa Sockers FC of the National Premier Soccer League, amateur golf, a variety of prep sports, Odessa College and Division II UT Permian Basin.

In 2016, he was published online in the New York Post after taking a photo of closer Aroldis Chapman standing next to his Lamborghini during spring training with the Cincinnati Reds.

Dindinger began his career in journalism at the Alamogordo Daily News in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he spent four years and three months as a sports writer from 2013-2018.

He covered four high schools and a former Pecos League expansion team (White Sands Pupfish) while also helping with breaking news coverage. Dindinger was recognized by the New Mexico Press Association, garnering four awards for his work in sports writing and sports photography.

Dindinger graduated from Sul Ross State University in 2013 with a bachelor's of science in Kinesiology. He was the most decorated student journalist after he garnered 21 awards from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association for his work in photojournalism during his tenure with the Skyline newspaper, a student-run publication.
