Meghan Eckmann joined the Lamar University Sports Medicine department in July 2026. She currently serves as an athletic trainer with the LU women's soccer team.
Eckmann is a graduate of Sacred Heart University where she earned her degree in exercise science in 2024. She received her master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut in 2026.
Meghan holds certifications in athletic training, CPR and BLS, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). Her professional interests include staying up to date on the benefits of ACL prehab plan integration and best practices for rehabilitation plans regarding concurrent lower extremity injury.
A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, she has recently moved to the area, excited for a change of scenery.Â
