Kanin Dodge spent his first three seasons at Stephen F. Austin including the 2020 COVID year. He played in 41 games earning 36 starts as he went 31 for 119 (.261) at the plate with 10 doubles, a triple and seven RBIs. He also scored 17 runs and walked 10 times while swiping 4 for 10 stolen bases.Â
Dodge transferred to Lamar in 2023 as he played and started in all 55 games at shortstop as he batted .272 with a home run, 13 doubles, a triple and 21 RBIs.
He was named to the Brooks Wallace Award watch list in 2024 while also being named to the Southland Conference's all defensive team at shortstop.
Dodge hit .300 during his senior campaign with 59 starts, 68 hits, 15 doubles, two home runs, 36 RBIs and 14 stolen bases.Â
