Elizaveta Gnilozubova joined the Lamar coaching staff in August 2026. A native of Astana, Kazakhstan, Gnilozubova moves to the sidelines after a successful playing career at Longwood.
During her time with the Lancers, she helped lead the program to unprecedented heights guiding the squad to its first Big South regular-season title and the top overall seed in the conference tournament. She ended the season garnering first-team all-conference honors in doubles play as well as tying for the team lead in singles wins.
Gnilozubova was also a champion in the classroom. An ITA Scholar-Athlete, and two-time Big South Presidential Award winner, Gnilozubova graduated with honors pursuing her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on finance and is currently pursuing an MBA.
Gnilozubova's success at Longwood came following a two-year stretch at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. She helped Lee move into the NCAA Division II top 25 poll (24th) and was a 2024 Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll selection. Gnilozubova's collegiate career began following a highly successful junior career that saw her win numerous tournaments across Asia and in Kazakhstan. She also represented Kazakhstan in international competitions on the professional level.
