Daucy Crizer

Daucy Crizer is a veteran member of the Lamar University Athletics Department, returning to his alma mater in August 1996. After spending the first 11 seasons as the sports information director, Crizer moved over to administration as the assistant AD for business in November 2007.

Crizer handles all athletic department budgets, which includes submitting an annual budget and gathering materials for the annual NCAA audit. He works closely with all the department managers and head coaches regarding their budgets, respectively, which includes monthly updates.

In addition, Crizer secures purchase orders, pays all invoices and sets up direct billing opportunities for sports as needed.

As Lamar's sports information director, Crizer traveled with the men's basketball team to the 2000 NCAA East Regional First Round game against Duke, NCAA Regionals in 2002, 2003 and 2004 with the baseball team and the 2006 NCAA Championship with the men's golf team, which placed third in the country.

Crizer returned to Beaumont after spending the previous two years as the assistant sports information director at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.

Crizer earned a bachelor's ddegree in finance from LU in 1992 and a master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern State in 1995. He and his wife, Jennifer, have twin boys - Jackson and Logan.
