Austin Glaze was promoted from student manager to director of operations following the 2026 season.

During the 2026 campaign, Glaze gained valuable experience working under former head coach Will Davis as the Cardinals captured their first Southland Conference tournament title since 2010 and earned a berth in the NCAA College Station Regional.

A 2022 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School, Glaze was a two-sport standout in baseball and football.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Lamar University in May 2026. Glaze was also named to the President's List, which recognizes students who maintain a 4.0 GPA.
