Angelica Romano joined the Lamar University Sports Medicine Department in January 2026. She currently serves as an athletic trainer with the Lamar men’s and women’s tennis teams. Romano is a graduate of Texas Lutheran University where she earned her degree in kinesiology in 2025. She received her master’s degree in athletic training from Texas Lutheran in 2025.
Romano holds certifications in Basic Life Support and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Her professional interests include athlete education, rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
A native of Saint Hedwig, Texas, Romano currently resides in Beaumont, Texas.
