Lamar University Athletics

Andrew Strick joined the Lamar University volleyball staff as associate head coach in May 2025.

A native of Westlake Village, Calif., Strick spent the previous six seasons with the University of Tennessee volleyball program.

He graduated from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in sports medicine. During his time at Pepperdine, Strick spent four seasons with the men's volleyball program as a volunteer administrator.

Strick specializes in scouting, analytics and practice coding, providing detailed data analysis and video breakdowns for coaches and student-athletes.

He earned a Master of Science in kinesiology from Tennessee in 2020.

Since 2018, Strick has worked with both the USA Men's and Women's National Teams. In the summer of 2021, he traveled to Tokyo with the U.S. Men's National Team for the 2020 Olympic Games, serving as a statistician and scout.
