After suffering a career-ending injury, Alaina Dock was added to the coaching staff by head coach Alan Edwards as the student assistant.
In her final season (2015), she appeared in 20 matches with two starts, and for her career she totaled 39 matches and 16 starts. For her career, she totaled 60 kills and averaged 0.58 a set. Defensively, she finished with a 0.88 digs per set average and 0.25 blocks mark.
The Giddings, Texas native has career highs of 12 digs against Wake Forest and six kills against Incarnate Word in the same season.
She is the daughter of Jeff and L’Anna Dock with three siblings. Dock is an exercise science major and hopes to attend physical therapy school after her time at Lamar University.
