2014 Season:
• Recorded a season-high 12 digs against Wake Forest early in the season.
• Highest dig count in conference play was six at home versus Incarnate Word.
• Had five digs apiece versus Houston Baptist, at Sam Houston St., versus Abilene Christian.
• Finished with 20 reception attempts against Ole Miss with only three errors.
• Put down six kills against Stephen F. Austin in 20 attempts and four errors.
• Four total blocks against A&M-Corpus Christi.
• Played in 19 matches and 52 sets.
 
2013 Season:
• Redshirted.
 
High School:
• Played for Lindsey Durrenburger at Giddings High School.
• Earned First Team All-District accolades from 2010-12 as well as an honorable mention in 2009.
• Helped to team bi-district championship in 2010.
• Also earned team’s defensive MVP award from 2010-12.
• Named Academic All-State.
• Also competed for TexStar Volleyball Club.
 
Personal:
• Born Alaina Christen Dock on January 1, 1995, in LaGrange, Texas.
• Daughter of Jeff and L’Anna Dock.
• One sister, Alisha, and two brothers, Alan and Adam (twin).
• Mother competed in track for Arkansas.
• Brother, Alan, played football for Tulsa.
• President’s List during fall 2013, fall and spring 2014.
• Volunteers regularly at physical therapy clinics
• Plans to attend physical therapy school after Lamar and become a physical therapist.
• Majoring in exercise science.
