2022 (Junior): Made 24 appearances including three starts … Posted a 3-3 recorded with a 4.54 earned run average … Struck out 36 batters to just eight walks ... Struck out a season-high five batters in 4.0 innings of work against UT Rio Grande Valley … His first start of the season was a 3.0-inning outing against Pacific … Cole allowed just one run on three hits with a strikeout against the Tigers … Also got a start against Stephen F. Austin going 4.0 innings allowing one unearned run on four hits with a punchout … Recorded four strikeouts against Texas A&M … Pitched 2.0 innings of relief at Rice striking out three … Had a stretch of 18 appearances where he allowed just eight earned runs over 23.2 innings with 25 strikeouts.

2021 (Sophomore):
Made nine appearances on the season including one start … Posted a 2-0 record with one save … Finished the year with a 2.16 earned run average and 0.90 WHIP … Surrendered five runs – four earned – on 11 hits in 16.2 innings pitched … Struck out 13 batters with just four walks … Opponents hit just .183 against Cole … Pitched a 3.1 innings allowing just one run on one hit with a strikeout in a victory over New Orleans … Recorded a season-high four strike outs in 2.0 innings at Southern … Also recorded a three Ks in the regular-season finale series against UIW.
