Lamar University Athletics

Marie Lund was named the Director of Women's Soccer Operations in the summer of 2018 after graduating from Lamar University, rejoining the program for a sixth year on Big Red's campus.

Lund played for LU for four seasons, appearing in 75 career matches, which is tied for third-most in program history. The defender from Bergen, Norway, played 5,113 minutes for the Cards. She is 10th in career games started with 60 and tied for sixth in career game-winning goals with three.

Before becoming a part of the Lamar soccer program Lund attended U. Pihl Videregående Skole and played for IL Sandviken. She was born on April 5, 1994 to Ronny Lund and Velinda Olsen.
