Angelica Hernandez joined the Lamar University Athletic Department as director of soccer operations in the summer of 2017.
Hernandez, played for the LU soccer team in 2016, after playing four seasons at the University of Toledo. In her one season at LU, Hernandez appeared in 13 games, all starts, with one goal and two assists. Hernandez, who had a medical redshirt at Toledo in 2015 after being injured early in her senior year, totaled 10 points on four goals and two assists in 55 games, 40 starts, with the Rockets.
Hernandez, a native of Bogotá, Colombia, earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Toledo. She is pursuing a master’s degree in finance at LU.
