2016-17 SEASON:
Competed in six events, averaging 82.88 strokes per round over 16 rounds … Carded a season-best round of 76 at the Bob Hurley ORU Shootout as she tied for 34th place.
PRIOR TO LAMAR UNIVERSITY:
Played four years of golf at Kingwood High School … Served as team captain as a senior in the 2014-15 season … Shot a career-best 73 during a tournament at Kingwood Country Club … Attended Dallas Baptist for one semester, but did not play before transferring to Lamar University in January 2016.
PERSONAL:
Born Aug. 21, 1997, in Kingwood, Texas … Daughter of Kevin and Ginger Jessup … Uncle, Michael Lomax, is president of the United Negro College Fund … Plans to major in accounting/marketing at Lamar University.
