Miles Edmond started his position as a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at Lamar University in May of 2022. Edmond is responsible for all aspects of training for women’s soccer and women’s golf, as well as assisting with the training of football and men’s and women’s track & field. He is working to obtain his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology.

Edmond comes to Lamar from STACK Sports Performance and Therapy where he trained athletes of all ages ranging from elementary school age to the collegiate level. While at STACK, Edmond was part of the NFL Pro-Day process for various athletes at their respective schools.

Prior to STACK, Edmond was intern at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa during the Summer of 2021working solely with football. While there, he was responsible for the coaching of players in the rehabilitation process.

Prior to interning at USF, Edmond was a Sports Performance Intern at Old Dominion (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia in the spring of 2021. While there, he assisted with football, women’s field hockey, women’s lacrosse, and co-ed swimming. He also assisted with the speed development program of early enrollee freshmen.

Prior to interning at ODU, Edmond did personal training but began his strength and conditioning career at the University of Kentucky (UK) in the summer of 2019. While at UK, he worked solely with football under his uncle and mentor, long-time strength coach, Corey Edmond.

Edmond received his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, Sports Studies, and Physical Education at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. in 2022. He is a native of Suffolk, Va. and the son of Kenneth and Echoe Edmond.
