Justin Huynh started his position as graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach in August of 2022. At Lamar University, he is responsible for all aspects of training for men’s and women’s cross country & men’s golf and assisting with football and baseball. He is working on completing his Master of Science in Kinesiology.
 
Prior to Lamar, Huynh was a Sports Performance intern at Stanford University for the 2021-22 school year. He was tasked with assisting in all aspects of training and the weight room for track & field, cross country, men’s swimming, beach volleyball, women’s volleyball, women’s golf, fencing and sailing. Huynh spent the 2021 Winter and Spring Quarter as a Sports Performance Intern at Santa Clara University where he was tasked with leading training for women’s tennis, track and field, cross country and women’s golf while assisting with volleyball, beach volleyball, softball and men’s tennis. Furthermore, Huynh was an intern at Cressey Sports Performance - Massachusetts in the Fall of 2020.
 
Huynh is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach.
 
A Bay Area Native, Huynh graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University Puget Sound and swam for the Loggers where he was a Mid-Distance Swimmer, specializing in Butterfly and the 400 IM.
