Lamar University Athletics

Stran Saunders joined the Lamar University Sports Medicine Staff in June of 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer. His primary responsibility is to manage the health care of the Cardinal softball team. 

Saunders graduated from Lamar University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He earned his Master of Athletic Training from Tarleton State University where he worked at various clinical sites to include collegiate and high school settings. Saunders is originally from China, Texas.
