Appeared in 60 games, making 58 starts … Named team’s Most Improved Player and defensive MVP … Made 23 starts at 3B before moving to SS, where she started 35 games … Batted .197 overall with two home runs and 13 RBIs …Batted .263 in Southland Conference games … Third on the team with 93 assists … Led LU with eight sacrifice bunts.
PRIOR TO LAMAR UNIVERSITY:
Four-year starter at Cedar Creek High School, where she batted .461 with 75 RBIs for her career … Earned honorable mention all-state honors as a shortstop in her junior year and at catcher as a senior … Batted .472 with 30 RBIs as a senior … Named team MVP as a junior and senior … Played travel softball for the Texas Blaze Gold.
