A two-time all-conference selection, and a 2022 First-Team All-WAC player in doubles, Joshua Taylor now makes the transition from player to coach. A five-year letterwinner (COVID) with the Red and White, Taylor makes the move to the sidelines after helping the Cardinals to one of their best seasons in program history.
In their first, and only season, in the Western Athletic Conference, Taylor led a freshman-laded squad to a 17-8 (.680) overall record, which included a perfect run through conference play, to lock up the WAC regular-season title and the No. 1 overall seed in the conference tournament.Â
Taylor was also a standout in the classroom where received numerous Academic All-Conference and ITA Scholar-Athlete awards, to go along with being a part of numerous ITA All-Academic Team selections.Â
