Lamar University Athletics

Jason McGee joined the Lamar University sports medicine staff in 2019 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. His primary coverage is with the Cardinal football team.
 
McGee graduated from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. During his time at Ohio State, he worked with football, men’s ice hockey and women’s ice hockey. This past year, McGee was also an intern with the Ohio Machine of Major League Lacrosse.
 
McGee is a nationally certified athletic trainer and a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Texas. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Nutrition at Lamar University. McGee is a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
