Dave Stedman joined Pete Rossomando’s staff in January 2023 and will assume the roll of co-special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach.
A former player for Rossomando at New Haven, Stedman comes to Beaumont from New Brittain, Conn. where he spent the previous nine seasons, and continued to work his way up the ranks. Stedman began his career as the Blue Devils’ running backs coach. During his time as the running backs coach, Stedman produced two all-conference selections.
Stedman remained in that position for two seasons before switching to the defensive side of the ball coaching the defensive line. In 2017, Stedman took on the added role of Blue Devils recruiting coordinator. During his time working with the defense, Stedman produced six more All-Northeast Conference selections.
In addition to his other responsibilities, Stedman took on the added role special teams coordinator in 2019.
Stedman played for Coach Rossomando at the University of New Haven. While with the Chargers, he was a two-time All-America selection and a three-time first-team all-conference selection. He received his bachelor’s degree from UNH in 2012.
