High School: Three-start athlete ... Helped lead Gilmer to a state title ... A second-team all-district and all-area selection ... An honorable mention all-state honoree ... One of the top running backs in the state posting 153 carries for 1,363 yards and 24 touchdowns during his junior season ... Also a standout on the baseball and track and field teams.
