High School: Played both tight end and defensive end for Randy McFarlin at Whitehouse High School ... Named Second-Team All-District 16-4A as a senior ... Helped the Wildcats to a 10-2 record on the year with 44 tackles and four sacks ... Named honorable mention all-district as a junior after posting 43 tackles and helping Whitehouse to a runner-up finish in district play.
