LU Head Coach Will Davis on Hranicky:
"Josh is the kind of elite prospect from the Golden Triangle that I hoped to convince to stay home and go to Lamar when I first got the job. He is a big-bodied left-handed pitcher that will remind fans of New York Yankees star CC Sabathia. Josh runs his fastball up to 91 with great life, I can't wait to get him working with Sned on his secondary pitches and see where he can take Josh. Josh was instrumental in PNG's run to the state championship last year and is the starting left tackle on the playoff-bound football team."
