Jerrod Sadler is in his second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Lamar University, and his first year with the baseball team. Previously, he was the athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams.
A native of the Kansas City area, Sadler came to LU after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Missouri. As an athletic training student at UCM, he completed a training camp internship with the Kansas City Chiefs in the summer of 2015.
Sadler is a certified athletic trainer and a State of Texas Licensed Athletic Trainer. He is married to the former Kelly Hoffmann, a Physical Therapist in Beaumont, and together they are the proud parents of a lab/shepherd mix named Wrigley.
