Biography

2014
•Led Lamar with 15 starts on the season, and complied a 4-7 record with a 3.57 earned run average
• most innings pitched on the team (98.1), which netted him sixth in the Southland Conference
• complete-game pitched against New Orleans in a 6-1 win, had two strikeouts and gave up only two hits
• took a loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a 9.1 inning effort in which he gave up two runs on seven hits
• Gave up only one run in seven innings pitched against LIU-Brooklyn
• Earned his third win of the season against Sam Houston State on 6.2 innings pitched and three runs, two earned, given up
• win over Stephen F. Austin gave him back to back wins, pitched 7.2 innings with three runs given up
• had more walks than hits in only one of his 15 games pitched, and never had more than two walks in a single game.
 
2013 
• Made 19 appearances with one start 
• Compiled 4-2 record and a save with a 3.25 earned run average over 36 innings of work 
• Picked up a victory in his lone start of the year vs. Northern Kentucky on February 17, pitching 3.2 innings and allowing a pair of runs while striking out three 
• Tossed back-to-back perfect innings in wins over Massachusetts and Prairie View A&M on March 9 and 12, respectively 
• Picked up second victory with a scoreless frame against Stephen F. Austin on April 26 
• Earned first save in a Southland Tournament elimination game vs. Southeastern La. on May 24, pitching a season-best five innings and allowing four hits without issuing a walk 
• Did not allow an earned run in 10 appearances.
 
2012 
•Made 12 appearances on the mound, going 2-0 with a 3.52 ERA over 15.1 innings of work 
• Allowed 15 hits and six earned runs, striking out seven and holding opposing hitters to a .263 average 
• Made collegiate debut on March 2 vs. UC Irvine, tossing a scoreless inning and striking out one 
• Picked up first career win with 2.2 hitless innings vs. Texas Southern on March 14 
• Earned second win after giving up one earned run over two innings at Stephen F. Austin on April 7 
• Also pitched two innings without allowing a hit in May 4 game at Texas State.
 
2011
•Redshirted.
 
High School 
•Was first-team All-District 21-3A performer for Orangefield High School last spring and was also a third-team, all-state selection. 
• Helped Bobcats post a 33-7 record and advance to the Region 3 championship round of the playoffs. 
• Honored as the Most Valuable Player on The Orange Leader's 2010 All-Star Team and was a co-MVP on The Beaumont Enterprise's 2010 Super Gold Team. 
• Also made the Academic All-District 21-3A Team.
