Prior to Lamar:
• Transferred to Blinn after a season of Louisiana-Lafayette.
• Earned Blinn’s most valuable player award for the 2016 season.
• Had a 4-4 record and a 3.58 earned run average.
• Was named to the Sunbelt Conference Commissioner’s List in 2015 at ULL.
• Finished with a 3.9 grade point average.
 
High School:
• Three-time first-team all-district honoree, and was the district defensive MVP for pitching.
• Was 9-1 with 100 strikeouts his junior season.
• Second-team all-district freshman season.
• Back-to-back district championships sophomore and junior year.
• Made it to the second round of the playoffs junior year, and regional semifinals his senior year.
• Four-year letterman in baseball.
• Member of the FFA.
• Graduated with a 4.36 grade point average.

• Born Blaine Alan Suehs on July 25, 1995.
• Son of Terri Duane Suehs, both teachers.
• Majoring in general studies.
• Wants to pursue a professional medical career or coach baseball at the division I level.
