2016 Season
• Was projected to be the starting first baseman, but a slow start put him on the bench until the HBU series.
• Became an extra base machine, racked up 21 extra base hits in 32 base knocks (65 percent).
• Pushed across four runs on two homers in a 3-for-5 day with three runs scored against Abilene Christian.
• Popped another homer in a four-RBI day against Sam Houston State – was 2-of-3 with two runs scored.
• Three-hit contest at Stephen F. Austin, had a homer and double, one RBI and two runs.
• Recorded another three-hit contest at against Southeastern Louisiana, against a double and homer.
• Had 10 multi-hit games in 26 starts and five multi-RBI contests.
 
Prior to Lamar:
• First-team all-conference his sophomore season after a .410 batting average, nine home runs and 20 doubles.
• Second-team all-conference and regional finalist his freshman year. Added to the junior college all-star team.

High School:
• Was listed to the 5A Houston all-star game.
• First-team all-district in both football and baseball his junior and senior years.
• Had a .360 batting average , three home runs and 15 doubles his senior year.
• .480 average, six dingers and 19 doubles his junior campaign.
• All-district honorable mention his sophomore season.
• Three-year letterman in football and basketball.
• Graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.
• Coached by Kerry Kerlin in baseball.

• Son of Terri and Jimmie Silvers.
• One brother, Zach, and one sister, Heather.
• Born Jimmie Lynn Silvers, III  on Feb. 26, 1995.
• General studies major.
