Competed in nine events, averaging 79.74 strokes per round over 23 rounds … Fired a season-best round of 75 on two occasions … Placed 17th at the Cardinal Challenge… Finished season by tying for 25th at the Southland Conference Championship..
2015-16 SEASON:
Joined team as a walk-on this season ... Played in all 11 tournaments ... Tied for 19th at the Bulldog Invitational ... Helped LU win its fourth straight Southland Conference Championship crown by tying for 21st place with a 237 for 54 holes ... Named Women's Collegiate Golf All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association ... Named to Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO LAMAR UNIVERSITY:
Earned four letters in golf and soccer at Nederland High School … Also earned two letters in volleyball … Three-time district golf champion while at Nederland, where she was the team MVP all four years … As a soccer player, was all-district and all-area player as a senior … Named team MVP as a senior after earning offensive player of the year honors as a sophomore and junior … Graduated in the top 5 percent of her class.
