2021 (Sophomore): Third-Team All-Southland Conference … Played in 38 games earning 29 starts – all coming behind the plate … Hit .258 on the season with two home runs, six doubles and 11 RBIs with 22 runs scored … Recorded a .378 on-base percentage with a .771 OPS … Also drew 15 walks and was hit by a pitch four times … Got hot at the plate in final three weeks of the season … After carrying a .171 into the first day of May, closed the season by hitting .318 with two home runs, five doubles, 10 RBIs with five walks and 11 runs scored … Recorded four multi-hit games with three of those coming in the season’s final three weeks … His lone three-hit game came in the third game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored … Followed that up with a 2-for-4 outing with a home run and two runs scored … Also went 2-for-4 with a double and runs scored in the final game against New Orleans as LU took 3 of 4 from the Privateers … Near perfect behind the plate with a .992 fielding percentage … One of the strongest arms in the league throwing 12-of-33 would-be base stealers (.363).
