BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University will open September with four straight home games at the LU Soccer Complex, starting Thursday against Our Lady of the Lake. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. and stream on ESPN+.

FOUR-MATCH UNDEFEATED STREAK AGAIN, COACH NATE
In each of his five seasons as LU head coach,
Nathan Kogut has guided the Cardinals to a four- match unbeaten streak. Over the last four games, the Cardinals defeated Louisiana Tech (in Ruston) while tying with Sam Houston, Rice and Tarleton State. The 2023 Cardinals hold the record for the longest unbeaten streak with 16 consecutive games (14 wins, two ties) from Sep. 3

ABOUT THE SAINTS
The Saints recently fell, 2-1, in an exhibition contest against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Sunday night. At 2-1 for the season, OLLU is led by Eleonora Diversi and Morgan Janous, who each have scored two goals. Freshman goalkeeper Avery Palmer has recorded 15 saves and has a goals-against average of 0.54 in both Saints' wins.
