BEAUMONT, Texas – Single-game tickets for the 2026 season are now available through the Lamar University Ticket Office. LU's single-game tickets went on sale just 24 hours before the players officially report for the start of preseason camp and less than 24 hours after Lamar unveiled its new-look, state-of-the-art locker room.
 
By purchasing early fans can receive their tickets at a discounted rate with prices ranging from $14.50 (end zone seats) up to $80 for gold seats. Green section seating is $24.50 and Big Red seating is $42.00.
 
Fans can purchase tickets by calling the LU Ticket Office at (409) 880-1715 or by logging onto the Lamar athletics web site at LamarCardinals.com/BuyTickets. Fans can also purchase tickets on gameday but they will be more expensive. Ticket windows open 90 minutes prior to kick off for each home contest.
 
Under the direction of head coach Pete Rossomando, now entering his fourth season, the Cardinals enter 2026 looking to make an improvement in the win column in a fourth consecutive year. Rossomando has guided the Cardinals to three-straight winning seasons – a first since the 1965 through 1967 seasons – highlighted by last year's eight-win campaign and trip to the NCAA FCS Playoffs (for just the second time in program history). Lamar's eight wins last season tied a school single-season record (as a four-year institution) and Rossomando already has more wins at LU after three seasons than any other Cardinals' head coach after their first four years save for only Cardinal Hall of Honor member Vernon Glass.
