BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University sits in a three-way tie for second in the Southland Conference standings with three games remaining and will close out the regular season with three games in five days. The Cardinals will open their final conference road trip by heading west on I-10 to Sharp Gymnasium to meet with the Houston Christian Huskies. The game will start at 6 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Cardinals (17-9, 14-5 SLC) honored four seniors Saturday with an 84-54 victory over New Orleans. Six players scored in double figures, with
Solenne Olenga leading the way with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Also in double figures were

R'Mani Taylor (10). LU also connected on a season-high 11 three-pointers.
OLENGA-OLENGA WITH THE DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Olenga averaged a double-double last week with 14 points and 13 rebounds - her third double-double of the season. She has 148 rebounds and has climbed up to a tie for 15th in the conference leaderboard for rebounds, averaging 5.7 per game.
PARKER'S DOUBLE-DOUBLE ON SENIOR DAY
Parker was inserted into the starting lineup for the first time Saturday and recorded a double-double on senior day with season highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds. She achieved these milestones with five points and eight rebounds in the fourth quarter.
ASSIST WATCH – JACEI DENLEY
Jacei Denley was three assists and one rebound shy of a triple-double against the Privateers Saturday. She now has 231 career assists and will need seven more to eclipse Viboonluk Kributr's (237) record for 10th place all-time.
SOUTHLAND UPDATE
LU is tied for second with both UT Rio Grande Valley and Stephen F. Austin in the standings. With three games left in the regular season, here's a look at who each team will be facing in that time.

The Cardinals emerged with a 66-54 win over HCU at Neches Arena back in January.
Kamryn Wilson was one of three Cardinals in double figures as she scored 17 points, which was one shy of her career high at the time. LU is 24-3 all-time against the Huskies and is 10-2 in Sharp Gymnasium.
ABOUT THE HUSKIES
HCU (8-18, 6-13 SLC) is two games behind Nicholls and East Texas A&M for the eighth and final spot in the upcoming conference tournament following a 70-64 loss to Northwestern State. Grace Booth scored a season-high 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting, to be the team's leading scorer and is averaging 11.2 points per game. Freshman Kamryn McLaurin is averaging 10.9 ppg and was the leading scorer against LU with 14 points.
