| By:
BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University is currently on a four-game winning streak and will be hosting a rematch with East Texas A&M Thursday at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.

PREVIOUSLY
The Cardinals (10-6, 7-2 SLC) concluded an unbeaten road trip by defeating Nicholls, 72-64, at Stopher Gym. Kamryn Wilson led the Cardinals with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists. R'Mani Taylor tallied 17 points while Taliah Hill recorded a season-high 12 points.

AQUA 110
The Cardinals' 10th win of the season was also the 110th career coaching victory for head coach Aqua Franklin. This moves her past Pat Park for third all-time at LU. Franklin now trails only Robin Harmony (115) and Larry Tidwell (128) for the school's all-time record. During her Lamar tenure, Franklin has never had a season with fewer than 10 victories and recently coached the Cardinals to three consecutive 20-win campaigns.

ASSIST WATCH – R'MANI TAYLOR & JACEI DENLEY
Taylor needs one assist to be the eighth Cardinal to achieve 300 for her career. It would also tie her for seventh all-time with Barbara Hickey. Meanwhile, Denley stands four assists shy of 200 and would need 41 to pass Viboonluk Kributr (237) for 10th all-time.

WAIT, WE'RE HOME AGAIN? UH-OH!
The Cardinals are the only team in the SLC that's undefeated at home. LU is 7-0 this season while averaging 69.5 points per game. Since returning to the SLC, the Cardinals are 41-6 at Neches Arena and have won 31 of their last 33 games.

LAST TIME VS. EAST TEXAS A&M
Eleven Cardinals scored in a 64-48 win in Commerce on New Year's Eve. Taylor was the leading scorer for LU with 13 points while T'Aaliyah Miner recorded a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. As of now, Big Red is 7-3 all-time against the Lions.

TIANI'S BLOCK PARTY IS COMING TO BOOMTOWN
Ellison has blocked 16 shots over the last six games, including a season-high five against LU back in Commerce. The redshirt sophomore from Durant, Okla., has soared up to second in the SLC rankings with 23, which trails overall leader Aziyah Farrier (SFA) by nine.

UP NEXT
The Cardinals will host SFA Saturday in a potential battle for sole possession of second place in the conference standings. The game will start at 1:00 p.m. and be streamed on ESPN+ and broadcast on Newstalk KLVI 560.
