Kalie Amos has named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Softball teams announced by organization officials Tuesday afternoon. This comes after she contributed to helping the Cardinals win 29 games, the most in the
Amy Hooks era, and make a third-straight appearance at the Southland Conference tournament.

Student-athletes in all four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA, are honored for their performances on the field and in the classroom. To be recognized as Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, obtain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and appear in either 90 percent or start in 66 percent of the team's games. In the case of pitchers, they must either make 17 appearances or pitch 35 innings.
Amos (Oklahoma City, Okla.) recorded a 3.55 GPA while majoring in university studies. This past season, she appeared in 45 games while starting in 33. Amos posted 21 hits, including three against Northwestern State (4/11/25), two doubles, and drove in six runs. Defensively, she had a .938 fielding percentage with 88 putouts, 32 assists, and was part of two double plays.
