Sabria Dean needs eight points to pass Uirannah Jackson (1,730) for second all-time by a Cardinal. The Cardinals defeated HCU 69-29 at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center earlier this season. After a 12-12 tie in the first quarter, LU outscored the Huskies, 47-17, in the final three quarters. Big Red's defense held the Huskies to three points in the second and third quarters. All 12 Cardinals appeared on the scoresheet with Davis (13) being the only double-figure scorer.

HCU Now
The Huskies took a six-point lead after the first quarter on Stephen F. Austin before falling 66-59 to the Ladyjacks. Tiffany Tullis, Erin Maguire, and Amy Cotton posted 14 points each to lead HCU. The Huskies are the only team in the conference averaging fewer than 50 points per game this season. Tullis is second in the conference in rebounding with 8.7 per game.
