BEAUMONT, Texas - In its first game on the road since December, Lamar University (11-4, 6-0 Southland) kept up the winning ways by defeating Nicholls in Thibodaux, La. Now, the Cardinals will head out to Lake Charles, La., Saturday to meet McNeese (7-10, 2-4) at the Legacy Center. The game, which will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and Newstalk 560 KLVI, is scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m.

Dean recorded her 200th career steal Thursday evening in the contest at Nicholls. This makes her the second Cardinal to reach 1,500 points, Â 300 assists, and 200 steals. Cardinals Hall of Honor member Kalis Loyd was the other Cardinal to achieve the feat.

The Cardinals conceded nine points in the third quarter against Nicholls. This was the 16th quarter that LU's defense allowed fewer than 10 points. In the nine games that Big Red allowed single-digit quarters, Lamar is 8-1.

In six conference games, Guillory is averaging 16.3 points per game, which is fourth in the SLC.
