Previously
The Cardinals converted a season-high 58.1 percent of their shots to defeat New Orleans 94-52. Sabria Dean was one of five Cardinals in double figures as she posted a season-high 24 points, including six three-point field goals. Also in double figures were Jacei Denley (16 points, nine assists), T'Aaliyah Miner (14), R'Mani Taylor (13), and Akasha Davis (12).

58 Percent is Very Good
Thursday marked the first time since Dec. 4, 2017 that LU converted 58 percent or higher from the field in a game. This is also the eighth-best mark in program history. All-time, the best mark in a single game was 72 percent against Sam Houston State (36-of-50) on Nov. 29th, 1984.

Raining Dozen
LU tied a season-high with 12 threes made in the game, which matches the game against St. Thomas (TX) earlier this season. The Cardinals have had an incredible turnaround in their three-point shooting. Last season, they were eighth in the conference with 27.8 percent. Entering Saturday, the Cardinals are the only SLC school to hit over 40 percent (41.6) from downtown and remain second in the nation behind Notre Dame. Three players – Taylor (2nd; 52.0), Dean (3rd; 50.0), and Denley (7th; 44.4) – are ranked in the conference's top 10.

House of Horrors
LU is 7-0 at home this season, winning by an average of 32.8 points per game. This is currently the best home record in the conference. Thursday's win over UNO was the third time the Cardinals have scored 90 points or more in a game this season. Ironically, 349 days ago against the Privateers, Big Red started a home winning streak that has stretched to 13 straight games.

Milestone Watch - Sabria Dean
Dean needs two steals to become the second Cardinal to achieve 1,500 points, 300 assists, and 200 steals. The only other player to achieve this feat was Kalis Loyd (2009-13), who finished her career with 1,967 points, 371 assists and 282 steals.

Milestone Watch - Akasha Davis
Davis needs 98 rebounds to become the second Cardinal with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds for her career. The only player to achieve this feat was Carolyn Ford (1978-82), who finished her career with 1,056 points and 1,052 rebounds.

Mining Point 14
T'Aaliyah Miner set a new career-high with 14 points Thursday night. She converted all six of her field goal attempts and tallied 12 points in the second half.

All-Time vs. Stephen F. Austin
In the 80th edition of this matchup, the Cardinals have won 17 meetings against the Ladyjacks. LU enters Saturday having lost its last six meetings to SFA while the last victory came on March 2nd, 2019 (62-46).
