BEAUMONT, Texas - The Lamar University men's golf team will tee off its 2024-25 regular season with an appearance at the Argent Financial Classic hosted by Louisiana Tech. The tournament will be held at the Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.
The course is a 7,105-yard, par-72 layout and will be played over three days from Sunday (Sept. 8th) through Tuesday (Sept. 10th).
The Cardinals will be one of 18 teams in this tournament which includes Tech, Abilene Christian, Houston, Jacksonville State, Little Rock, UL Lafayette, UL Monroe, LSU, Middle Tennessee, Nicholls, North Texas, Rice, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Troy, UAB and Western Kentucky.

While the tournament officially starts at 7:30 a.m., the Cardinals are scheduled for a 10:20 a.m. tee time. LU will be paired with ULM and North Texas.
