BEAUMONT, Texas - Lamar University's soccer team opened the 2024-25 athletic season with a 3-0 shutout exhibition win over the Buccaneers of Blinn College Tuesday night at the LU Soccer Complex. Playing three 30-minute sessions, the Cardinals finished the game outshooting BC 24-6.

All three goalkeepers of Taylor Howard, Maddie Rich, and Jaliyah Clark would appear in the game and would combine to put up three saves.

After a scoreless first session, Conway would break the shutout just 16 minutes into the second session.
