Caleb Williams have all received invites to the post-season all-star game following the 2024 campaign.
An independently operated annual post-season college football all-star game which surrounds Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend and celebrates his legacy, the Dream Bowl is entering its 13
th season in 2025. The Dream Bowl promotes itself as the premier showcase for NCAA Division I FCS level schools and below.
The contest is slated to kick off Sunday, Jan. 19
th, 2025 from Lobo Stadium in Little Elm, Texas.
All 10 Lamar invitees are either current starters or have been starters and play significant snaps this season. One player – Le Boucher – still has a year of eligibility remaining if he chooses to return. Big Red is 3-3 at the midway point of the season equaling the same strong from last year.
Under the leadership of head coach Pete Rossomando, the Cardinals have rattled off nine wins in a season and a half. That is the best stretch for the Red and White since winning 11 between the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Just at the midway point of the 2024 campaign, Big Red still has six more games this season to equal and pass that mark.
The Cardinals return to action Saturday when they travel to Commerce, Texas to face the A&M-Commerce Lions. The game against Commerce will kick off a pivotal stretch for the Red and White that will see LU on the road for three of its next four with dates at Commerce (Oct. 19
th), Northwestern State (Oct. 26) and at No. 14 UIW (Nov. 9) with the lone home date during that stretch coming on Saturday, Nov. 2
