Welcome to the No Shot Club
Sunday marked the third time in program history that LU held an opponent without a shot throughout the match. The first two times occurred in LU's inaugural season in 2007 as the Cardinals did so in matches against Northern Arizona (9/2/07) and Rice (9/28/07). The closest LU came to holding an opponent to zero shots in between 2007 and 2023 was on September 13, 2019 when the Cardinals held Texas Southern to just one shot.
