BEAUMONT, Texas - Unable to solve South Alabama's defense, Lamar University's soccer team was held scoreless throughout 90 minutes while the Jaguars scored three goals to keep their undefeated start going. The Cardinals currently sit at 1-2-1 to start non-conference play.
The Cardinals were outshot 15-4 by the Jaguars, who held them to two shots in each half. Two of those shots came from Cariel Ellis while Hollie Massey and Trinity Clark had the other shots. Allowing 15 shots from USA, Nicole Panis managed to make five saves in goal.
The Cardinals will now turn their attention to this Sunday afternoon as they will travel to Stephenville to meet with Tarleton State at 1:00 p.m.
