For the seventh year in a row, the Cardinals came away with a sweep of the Battle of the Border Classic against McNeese with a 79-48 win. This marks 12 straight wins against the Cowgirls and also the seventh year in a row in which LU earned a sweep.

Akasha Davis recorded her third 20-point game of the season with 20 points against the Cowgirls. She finished with eight in the first quarter on their way to a win. It's also her seventh career 20-point game and she has also passed the 600-point mark.
PETITION TO CHANGE MALAYSIA TO MALAY
Malay McQueen tallied a season-high 16 points against the Cowgirls, which is also the second time she scored that many against McNeese. She converted four threes, which puts her at 96 career threes and is only four away from 100.

LU dropped a heartbreaking loss to NSU 54-52 in Natchitoches. Akasha Davis recorded a team-high 15 points on 7-of-14 from the field. Â
HISTORY VS. THE DEMONS
In what will be the 60th meeting all-time between the two teams, NSU currently holds a 38-21 edge over LU, which included the 54-52 win to snap a four-game skid to LU.
SCOUTING THE DEMONS
The Demons suffered a 69-58 loss to Houston Christian University, has them tied for fourth along with LU. While they average 60.2 points per game, they do give up 65.2 points per game. Joelle Johnson led the Demons with 22 points in the loss to HCU. She went nine-of-17 from the field.
