Cardinals Fall At Baylor

WACO Texas – Lamar University softball dropped a midweek matchup 8-0 against Baylor Wednesday night at Getterman Stadium. 

Junior catcher Felixia Hinojosa produced the lone hit, a single to left-center. Freshman pitcher Haila Linton (1-7) struck out two Bears (18-17). 

The Cardinals (8-22) now focus on extending their two-game win streak in WAC play as they pay a visit to Abilene Christian for a three-game series starting Friday. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Poly Wells Field.
